At Panteion University, research units operate where research, study and educational work is carried out in specialized subjects with the aim of assisting the research and educational function of the Institution, the production of new knowledge and innovation, as well as the dissemination and application of science in society and the market.

Laboratories are research units whose main purpose is

1. the support and production of new research,

2. the interconnection of research, in a defined field of knowledge of the Sector or Department, with postgraduate studies and the preparation of doctoral and postdoctoral theses,

3. the application of new technologies in education and research,

4. the provision of services to natural and legal persons, in particular the preparation of studies, measurements, provision of opinions, editing of publications, organization of scientific events, etc.

30 Laboratories have been established and operate at Panteion, covering a wide range of social and political sciences. They are grouped into sectors and departments, where information about their activities can be found.
