Panteion aims to continuously upgrade the support and visibility of its research potential, through the cultivation of a favorable environment and expertise for high-quality research and scientific distinctions for the benefit of the university community and society at large. The commitment to conducting high-quality research is guided by the promotion of science and social contribution. Improving performance in production and international impact of research work is a constant goal. The strategy for securing funding (with emphasis on European programs: Horizon 2020, ERC, Marie Curie, Framework Programs), the rationalization of resource management, the establishment of strategic inter-university and inter-state research collaborations, the support of the work of the Foundation's research centers/institutes/laboratories, the collaboration with Research Centers in the country, the operation of a Research Ethics Committee, as well as the undertaking of research projects with a social footprint are some of the fundamental parameters of the Foundation's research policy.
